Começa por Porto Alegre, no dia 16 de março, a terceira edição do projeto Nivea Viva, que em 2014 prestar homenagem ao samba reunindo sobre o palco artistas de diferentes gerações: Martinho da Vila, Alcione, Diogo Nogueira e Roberta Sá.
Os espetáculos gratuitos serão realizados também no Rio de Janeiro, em Brasília, Recife Salvador e São Paulo. Os espetáculos são gratuitos. O local do show na Capital será o Anfiteatro Pôr do Sol.
O projeto Nivea Viva o Samba, anunciado à imprensa na manhã da última terça-feira em São Paulo, dá continuidade à série de espetáculos iniciada em 2012 com a homenagem aElis Regina, com Maria Rita interpretando clássicos imortalizados por sua mãe. Em 2013, Vanessa da Mata apresentou o tributo a Tom Jobim.
Com direção artística da cineasta Monique Gardenberg, o encontro de bambas antecipa a celebração do centenário da gravação do primeiro samba no Brasil, Pelo Telefone (de Donga e Mauro de Almeida), em 1916.
O espetáculo, que vai ter mais de duas horas de duração, é dividido por temas que destacam o samba como crônica social do Brasil, como amor, desilusão e sensualidade, explicou Monique. O repertório conta com clássicos de nomes como Noel Rosa, Ary Barroso, Clara Nunes, Chico Buarque, Vinicius de Moraes e Dorival Caymmi.
“Eu estou na boa, estou em casa. Alcione é minha irmã de primeira hora, o Diogo eu vi na barriga de sua mãe. Eu só gosto de fazer coisas em que me divirto. Não faço shows e música apenas para os outros, mas pra mim também. Vamos fazer uma grande festa. Eu vou cantar e ouvir a plateia cantar – disse Martinho na entrevista coletiva.
