José Pio Martins e Massimo Mario Augello
A Universidade Positivo (UP), firmou 
parceria com a Universidade de Pisa, 
instituição de ensino italiana com 
cerca de 700 anos de atividade. Para 
assinar o acordo, o reitor da 
Universidade Positivo, José Pio 
Martins, o diretor do Núcleo de 
Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas, 
Luciano Carstens, e o diretor do 
Núcleo de Ciências Humanas e 
Sociais, Manoel Knopfholz, foram 
recebidos pelo reitor na 
Universidade de Pisa, Massimo Mario 
Augello, e pelo prefeito da cidade, 
Marco Filippeschi. Além de firmar o 
convênio, os representantes da UP 
conheceram o Observatório 
Gravitacional Europeu, laboratório 
localizado a aproximadamente 20 km 
de Pisa, em Cascina, e que abriga o 
interferômetro Virgo.
