A mostra reúne obras de 15 artistas plásticos curitibanos, sob a coordenação de Carla Schwab e Eloir Jr. ( foto). A exposição fez parte da 16a. Semana Nacional de Museus promovida pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Museus/IBRAM e já foi vista no Espaço Cultural IPO em Curitiba.
Segundo os coordenadores da exposição, a mostra busca resgatar a memória cultural que enriquece há séculos a expressão negra e permanecerá na Casa da Cultura de Colombo, com visitação gratuita, até 30 de julho. Ainda de acordo com eles, cada obra conta com um QR Code (endereço eletrônico) com o qual o público poderá obter informações complementares a respeito das obras. “O público poderá interagir com os trabalhos buscando detalhes sobre as personalidades tratadas ou do ato cultural por meio do aparelho celular ou outro dispositivo móvel”, explica Eloir Jr.
Obras em exposição
Fortes e liberais, artistas e guerreiras, amas de leite, escritoras, ativistas, mães e religiosas, todas as mulheres negras são muito bem retratadas em diferentes linguagens, técnicas e percepções artísticas de Ana Lectícia Mansur, Ari Vicentini, Bia Ferreira, Carla Schwab, Cecifrance Aquino, Celso Parubocz, EloirJr., Katia Velo, Kezia Talisin, Luciana Martins, Luiz Felix, Marcio Prodocimo, Oswaldo Fontoura Dias, Raquel Frota e Tania Leal.
“Transcorridos 130 anos da assinatura da Lei Aurea, ainda observamos níveis de discriminação racial, porém a história nos narra a saga de personalidades negras que exemplificam a incansável trajetória em busca de seus objetivos e direitos, hoje adquiridos e relevantes para a construção do Brasil. Esta exposição tem como objetivo provocar a reflexão do visitante”, destaca Eloir Jr.
