A DC Set, empresa gaúcha com mais de 30 anos de atuação no mercado de promoção, marketing, produção e criação de eventos no Brasil, vai iniciar hoje as obras de revitalização e reestruturação do Parque das Pedreiras, que engloba a Pedreira Paulo Leminski e a Ópera de Arame, dois grandes símbolos da cultura paranaense. A empresa é a vencedora da concorrência proposta pela Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba, no primeiro semestre deste ano, que buscava um parceiro para administração e operação do Parque das Pedreiras e do Parque Náutico do Iguaçu.
As obras no Parque das Pedreiras terão início após uma fase de estudos técnicos e desenvolvimento dos projetos arquitetônicos. Nesta primeira etapa, que representará, aproximadamente, 70% das obras, a DC Set vai investir mais de 10 milhões de reais. Além da reformulação completa dos palcos, banheiros, escadas de emergência e elevadores, itens fundamentais para a liberação dos espaços, o projeto conta ainda com a criação da “Rua da Música”, com bares e restaurantes temáticos; e do “Museu da Música”, espaço que vai valorizar a música contemporânea.
Segundo Patrik Cornelsen, sócio da DC SET Paraná, após a entrega das obras, o Parque das Pedreiras se transformará em uma verdadeira “usina de criação cultural”, com ações integradas da iniciativa privada e governos municipal, estadual e federal.
“Com a reabertura do Parque das Pedreiras, a cidade de Curitiba ganhará novamente uma vida cultural ativa. Para atendermos todas as expectativas do público, estamos firmando um grande ‘pacto cultural’. Uma das principais medidas será a criação de um conselho curador, que irá abordar cultura e sustentabilidade, tendo como membros grandes personalidades da cidade.
