Prossegue até o dia 30 de abril as inscrições para o IX Prêmio João Turin de Incentivo aos Novos Designers de Moda, ação que integra a programação paralela do VI Paraná Business Collection. Com o tema “Pincéis e Carretéis“, o prêmio tem como inspiração obras de pintores paranaenses, nascidos no estado ou que fixaram residência nele. Também serão aceitas propostas desenvolvidas a partir de telas de artistas de outros estados ou países que expressaram em suas criações aspectos da cultura paranaense. Os trabalhos selecionados participarão de um desfile temático, no último dia do evento, 26 de junho, quando será conhecido o vencedor do concurso. O ganhador vai receber como premiação uma viagem internacional como participante de uma das missões empresariais organizadas pela Federação das Indústrias do Estado do Paraná (FIEP).
Desde sua primeira edição em 2003, o Prêmio João Turin de Incentivo aos Novos Designers de Moda tem como objetivo estimular, entre os estudantes, a pesquisa em temas da cultura paranaense no desenvolvimento de roupas e acessórios. Em edições anteriores, João Turin e o Movimento Paranista, Fandango, Tropeiros, Modas da Moda Paranaense, Bandeira do Estado do Paraná, Cataratas do Iguaçu, Paulo Leminski e Minha Cidade Vira Moda se transformaram em desafios bem sucedidos aos seus participantes. Idealizado e coordenado pela jornalista Nereide Michel e pelo produtor Paulo Martins, o prêmio é dedicado aos estudantes de cursos técnicos, de graduação ou especialização em Moda, Estilismo e Design, matriculados em instituições do Paraná. Um evento sério e de muito bom gosto, organizado por dois talentos do Estado do Paraná.
