Documentário sobre Sebastião Salgado integra a mostra Êxodos e tem entrada franca

A CAIXA Cultural Curitiba apresenta, quarta-feira, dia 7 de dezembro, às 18h, o documentário O Sal da Terra, que integra a exposição Êxodos, de Sebastião Salgado. O Sal da Terra revela a vida e a obra do respeitado fotógrafo que foi testemunha de alguns dos principais eventos da história recente, conflitos internacionais, fome e êxodo. O filme é resultado do trabalho de seu filho Juliano Salgado e do renomado diretor Wim Wenders.
Indicado ao Oscar 2015 de Melhor Documentário, o longa O Sal da Terra embarca na descoberta de territórios imaculados, da flora e da fauna selvagem e de paisagens grandiosas como parte de um enorme projeto fotográfico. O filme é uma homenagem à beleza do planeta.
Para assistir à exibição, que tem entrada franca, os interessados devem retirar o ingresso a partir das 17h do mesmo dia.
ÊXODOS
Até o dia 12 de fevereiro de 2017, o público terá a chance de ver a Exposição Êxodos, que ocupa as duas salas da CAIXA Cultural Curitiba, no térreo e no mezanino. A coleção de 60 imagens é resultado de viagens do consagrado fotógrafo durante seis anos por 40 países, e retrata pessoas que abandonam a terra natal contra a própria vontade. O trabalho explora cinco temas centrais, que é como a mostra está dividida: África; Luta pela Terra; Refugiados e Migrados; Megacidades; e Retratos de Crianças.
As galerias ficam abertas de terça a sábado, das 10h às 20h, e domingo, das 10h às 19h. Em dezembro estarão abertas normalmente até o dia 22 (quinta-feira). Depois do Natal, serão abertas entre os dias 27 e 29 de dezembro (terça a quinta-feira). Após as comemorações de Ano Novo, o funcionamento volta ao normal no dia 3 de janeiro de 2017 (terça-feira).
A coleção desta exposição foi doada por Lélia Wanick e Sebastião Salgado ao Instituto Terra, ong ambiental que o casal fundou em 1998, em Aimorés, Minas Gerais, onde Salgado nasceu em 1944. A mostra, que ficou em cartaz em Salvador e em Recife neste ano, é uma realização da Via Press Comunicação e Eventos.
