No próximo dia 10 de maio o Clube Curitibano apresenta a primeira edição do Concerto de Outono, na Sede Concórdia. Idealizado pela renomada pianista Vânia Pimentel, que abre a programação do espetáculo, o concerto também terá a participação da Orquestra de Cordas, regida pelo maestro Jaime Zenamon, com apresentações especiais da maestrina Elena Moreno e do Coral do Clube Curitibano.
“Foi com muita satisfação e orgulho que recebemos a oferta dessa grande pianista, reconhecida por seu talento mundo afora, para um concerto no Clube Curitibano”, conta o diretor cultural Roberto Amaral da Cunha. Vânia, que mora em San Diego, nos Estados Unidos, aproveitou a estadia em Curitiba por ocasião do aniversário de 90 anos de sua mãe para procurar o clube e se colocar à disposição para uma apresentação.
Formada em música pela Escola de Música e Belas Artes do Paraná (EMBAP), a pianista tem doutorado em música pela Universidade de Houston (EUA) e é muito requisitada para concertos no Brasil e no exterior. “Eu sugeri essa data para a apresentação, o dia 10 de maio, para homenagear não só a minha, mas todas as mães, em virtude do Dia das Mães que é comemorado no final de semana seguinte”, explica Vânia.
Todo o programa que será apresentado pela pianista é de música brasileira, com composições de Chiquinha Gonzaga, Nazareth, Marlos Nobre, Villa-Lôbos, Mignone, Guarnieri e Amaral Vieira. Depois do concerto de Vânia a Orquestra de Cordas, regida pelo maestro boliviano Jaime Zenamon, fará uma apresentação com a participação especial da maestrina Elena Moreno e do Coral Clube Curitibano, que fecha o programa da noite com a música “Jesus Alegria dos Homens”, de Johann Sebastian Bach.
